Other Activities
Dog Walking
Our resident experts know everything there is to walks in the area. They should by now, walking six dogs every day! Feel free to ask for advice on dog friendly walks and hikes close by.
Pet Friendly Pubs & Restaurants
We are a bit limited when it comes to walking distance pubs due to being so rural. Our closest village is called Milton Abbot, it's about a 40 minute walk from us and it has a very pet friendly pub called the Edgcumbe Arms. They did stop serving food recently after the pandemic but we have heard they may be restarting food service.
Alternatively if you are willing to travel a little further out (just under 30 minutes by car) then we can't recommend Eversfield Organic Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale enough. Again they are very pet friendly and the food there is gorgeous. It's best to book a table as they are popular with tourists and locals alike!
